COURSES

COSMETOLOGY

Our students have a passion for the artistry of hair design, a desire for success and the ability to achieve their dreams. Together, with small classes and the Pivot Point system of training, our students focus on the highest levels of creativity and independence, knowing that they will be employable upon completion. They succeed beyond their dreams. You can too! House of Heavilin  Students are required to attend school Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If you wish to apply for Financial Aid, you may do so through the school’s financial aid office. We offer Federal Student Aid including Pell Grants for those who qualify, as well as Sallie Mae for those who do not qualify for Federal Student Aid. You will need to visit with our Admissions coordinators to determine what is best for you.

Classes begin on the first Tuesday of every month. The enrollment deadline is two weeks previous to each start date.

 

 

ESTHETICS

During your training, you will use Bioelements, one of the Industry leaders in professional

skincare companies. House of Heavilin believes in order to be competitive in the Esthetics field, you must know how to do complex treatments and be knowledgeable in machines as well as manual manipulations. Treatments include herbology, enzyme therapy, microdermabrasion, machine treatments, stone therapy, full body masks, acne regimens, popular waxing methods, reflexology and makeup application just to name a few. As you can see your training time will be packed full of product knowledge, learning how to be an industry leader. As a Pivot Point member school assure yourself that we will give you the intense training that you need to choose your field once your graduate and get your license. With our great facility, you will be proud to bring friends and family to our upbeat learning facility.

With our small class size, you will have more one-on-one training to build the confidence and look forward to employment right after graduating.

Class Start Dates: The first Tuesday in the months of January, April, July, and October. The enrollment deadline is two weeks previous to each start date.

Classes are limited, so if you have a preference, enroll at least 4 months in advance

 

 

 

 

MANICURING

This year, the Nail Industry will surprise the analysts again. Each year the profit margin climbs to a new all-time high. This is a multi-billion dollar industry, with earning potentials that allow licensed professionals to become financially independent.

Whether interests are in basic manicuring and massage, or the unique application of sculptured nails with nail art, a license in manicuring will open many doors. Job opportunities are plentiful in all areas of Nail Technology.

House of Heavilin offers the student a planned curriculum of theory and clinical experiences, organized in a progressive sequence, which is intended to prepare you for entry into the Manicuring profession, and to instill high ideals of professional ethics, salesmanship, practical skills and creativity. During training, you will learn the basic skills of manicuring, pedicuring, sculptured (form) nails, tips/overlays, and various wrap techniques.

With small classes you will have the individualized training to be confident in your career choice. This course is offered at the Blue Springs Campus, and upon you initial visit to the facility, you will be proud to bring friends and family into our upbeat learning environment that is well equipped and here to assist you in reaching your goals.

 Class dates are the first Tuesday of  March, June, September and December.  It is best to schedule your enrollment appointment at least one month prior to desired start month. The enrollment deadline is two weeks previous to each start date.

 

 

INSTRUCTOR TRAINING

Do you have the desire to teach your passion? This may be the course for you. Once you are a licensed professional you are eligible to apply for the Instructor Training course. Monthly classes are available. The enrollment deadline is two weeks previous to each start date.
