That’s why we offer financial aid options for students who qualify. To apply for your Pell eligibility and Direct Student Loans, you must complete the FAFSA at http://www.studentaid.gov
Please do not wait until your application is accepted by the Department of Education to contact us. We can often assist you through the questions about your financial aid by meeting with an Admissions Advisor.
You will need a high school diploma or GED. If you received a home-school diploma, you will need the Missouri State Board of Cosmetology to approve your transcript prior to applying for your initial state license. After applying for a Federal Direct Student Loan, it is mandatory that you complete Entrance and Exit counseling at the Student Aid website.

Go online to studentaid.gov to create your Federal Student Aid Account to apply for, receive, and manage your federal student aid.
Contributors will also need to have their own Federal Student Aid Account. Who may be your contributor? The student’s parent(s), the spouse of the student’s parent, or the student’s spouse.
You may need to wait up to three days to use your account. We recommend registering early.
You might need the following information or documents as you fill out your FAFSA form:
*You will be able to provide consent and approval to have most of your financial information imported directly from the IRS. Still, you should keep your tax return handy for additional questions.
Fill out your FAFSA at studentaid.gov
Choose the school code of the campus you wish to attend
After submitting your FAFSA, contact us at (816) 229-9000, Ext. 1, to schedule an appointment with a Financial Aid Advisor.
After applying for a Federal Direct Student Loan, you must complete Master Promissory Notes and Entrance Counseling at studentaid.gov, and upon leaving school, you are required to complete Exit Counseling.
If you have special circumstances (significant changes to your financial situation, such as loss of employment or pay cuts) or unusual circumstances (you’ve been abandoned by or estranged from your parents and have not been adopted), contact the Financial Aid Office at (816) 229-9000, Ext. 1 to discuss your situation and what options may be available.
